My door warning circuit is a simplified of the Van’s design that takes advantage of the G3X discrete inputs available for triggering user defined events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply put, the magnetic reed switches sense when a door is open. This in turns causes a warning message to be displayed on the G3X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that in my installation, I also illuminate LED annuciator lights on my instrument panel in addition to the having a G3X warning message displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
